The Boyd Family

Dr. Thomas Boyd and Dr. Christine Gonos-Boyd received their bachelor's degrees in biology from Gannon University and their doctoral degrees from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Tom and Dr. Chris interned for two and a half years with Dr. M.R. Mally, a prolific sports and occupational injury chiropractor. They assisted Dr. Mally at sports-injury seminars, the Advanced Clinical Orthopedic Symposium, and the International Conference on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Cumulative Trauma Disorders. Dr. Tom and Dr. Chris stay abreast of the latest health care research, methods, and developments through ongoing post-graduate studies. Dr. Tom and Dr. Chris have served many local athletes from various high schools, colleges, and professional sports teams. 

 

In 2000, they were Team Chiropractors for the Erie Invaders Indoor Football Team. From 2001-2003 Dr. Tom served as the team consultant for the Greensboro Prowlers of the Arena Football League II in Greensboro, NC.  Over a 12-year period, he has served as the Team Chiropractor for the Erie Otters Hockey Team of the Ontario Hockey League. Dr. Tom Boyd also served as the Director of Medical Services for the American Indoor Football Association.

Dr. Tom is currently Head Wrestling Coach at Gannon University, where he was a NCAA All-American wrestler. From 2008-2012, he co-promoted the "War At the Shore" tri-dual featuring Division I, II, and High school wrestlers from 2008-2012. Dr. Tom and Dr. Chris have three children and live in Millcreek. They are committed to providing natural, professional healthcare in the Erie region.

We like to donate our time to local health fairs and do speaking engagements on health and chiropractic.
